Worldwide connected – your opportunities for exchange
The weltwärts community offers you many ways to network, exchange ideas, and stay involved – whether in the Worldwide-Network (WWN), alumni associations, or exciting events. Connect with others, discover new perspectives, and be inspired by the community’s diversity. Together, we create spaces for global issues, projects, and meaningful connections!
Connect online in the Worldwide-Network
The Worldwide-Network (WWN) is the digital platform that connects current and former volunteers from every corner of the world – spanning continents from Indonesia to Germany, Brazil, and across Africa. Do you find yourself asking questions like, "What comes after my voluntary service?" or "How can I make the most of my experiences?" These are common concerns for many. In our community, we have a wealth of experiences to share and learn from.
The various spaces in the WWN enable you to start projects, share resources, or simply engage in discussions on global topics with others. You’ll find regional spaces (e.g. Africa or Berlin), thematic spaces (e.g. on sustainability), and a job/internship board. These spaces are your areas to reflect on experiences and develop new ideas together.
If your journey after weltwärts has already taken you further, you can share your insights and knowledge with others in the WWN. In the "Paths after Voluntary Service" space, we support each other by sharing information and experiences on study programs, time abroad, career entry, or volunteering. Together, we inspire and encourage one another.
Join an alumni association
Are you looking to stay connected with fellow alumni, either on a long-term basis or for occasional collaborations on exciting projects? Then alumni associations are the perfect fit for you. They provide opportunities to network both locally and globally, while allowing you to contribute your own interests. Here, we introduce two alumni associations. Do you know of an association you'd like to see highlighted? We’d love to hear your suggestions!
Grenzenlos e.V.

How to get started
After my weltwärts volunteer service in Kigali, Rwanda (2019–2020), I was eager to share my experiences and create a platform for global learning through my workshops.
